During Play in Healthcare Week the Giggle Doctors celebrated two decades of bringing vital opportunities for play and to support children’s wellbeing visits at Sheffield Children’s Hospital

Isabel, our Programme Manager, recently visited our friends at North Manchester General Hospital and got see Dr Muddy Puddle in action. Below, Isabel shares a story of how Dr Muddy Puddle helped a young person find their voice again – a visit she will remember for a long time to come.

We’re looking for playful people with a performing arts background who want to use their creativity, imagination and performance skills to bring joyful encounters to children in hospitals and specialist care settings!

Join our fabulous #TeamGiggleDoctors for this world famous event. We ask that you pay a registration fee of £50 and raise a minimum target of £2,200 that go towards special Giggle Doctor visits for children in hospital’s across the country.

Thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to continue developing the skills of our Giggle Doctors so more children can experience the transformative power of play!
