Meet Joie, our new partner!

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Joie to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of children living with illness, disability and complex needs. Joie is a global baby gear brand founded in 2011 and its products are designed with families at its heart. As well as making award winning car seats, pushchairs and in home baby gear, Joie works hard to educate consumers about the importance of car seat safety and the benefits of extended rear facing.

Being in hospital can be a very traumatic and stressful experience, especially for a child. Through the partnership, Joie’s generous support will help our Giggle Doctors to bring moments of joy, laughter and connection to nearly two thousand children in hospitals across the country, while also having a positive impact on thousands of parents, carers, siblings and hospital staff.

From Dr Boogie Woogie to Dr Teapot, specially trained Giggle Doctors combine music, play, magic and storytelling to help reduce anxiety, help transform their hospital experience, and create meaningful moments of play that support children’s emotional wellbeing.
